Black History Month 2025

Each February, people across Canada participate in Black History Month events and celebrations that honour the legacy and contributions of Black people in Canada and their communities. The 2025 theme for Black History Month is: “Black Legacy and Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History and Uplifting Future Generations.”

Here are the events, exhibitions, and tours celebrating Black History Month 2025 across Ontario, hosted by museums, historic sites, and galleries. This is not a complete list— the OMA will continue to update it throughout the month as more events, exhibitions, and tours are added.
