Position Purpose:
The successful applicant will greet and provide information and tours to museum visitors, assist with activities and demonstrations. They will be among the frontline staff working to ensure visitors to the museum have a positive experience. The Museum Attendant is responsible for preparing the historic buildings and exhibit spaces for the public including open and close routines each day and light housekeeping. Minimum Qualifications
· As an ideal candidate, you have a minimum of one year university or college in an appropriate field (e.g., museum studies, history, conservation, anthropology, education) and possess demonstrated research and computer skills;
· Police Vulnerable Sector Check, deemed as satisfactory by the Town;
· Current Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR “C”;
