About the position
Under the direction of the Head, Marketing and External Relations, coordinates the social media presence for the Museum, and works across teams to implement, schedule, develop, deliver and evaluate social media, web and digital content that support Museum initiatives.

Eligibility criteria
This position is open to all Employees of the Canadian Museum of Nature and any members of the public who meet the qualifications below.
*Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Education and training
University degree in museum-related discipline including marketing, communications, journalism or literature, and/or related experience and education.
Language requirements
Bilingual imperative BBB/BBB
Experience
- Experience in managing social media accounts, scheduling and posting content and responding to customers in social media channels.
- Experience in writing and adapting scientific content for the general public in a variety of media
- Experience in developing engaging interpretive, multimedia content for digital media, including social media ; an asset.
- Experience in researching content, media and assets, and in negotiating copyright
- Experience working in a museum, science centre, cultural, scientific or journalistic environment
