We’re proud to share that, as the next step in a multi-phased project to improve member experience, the OMA has moved our membership portal to Member365. This portal will offer you faster and easier membership renewals and event registrations, and easy access to your payment receipts and invoices, OMA membership card and other benefits.

You can log into your OMA membership through Member365 here. Please note that we have retired the OMA’s legacy membership number system. If you have been using a membership number (e.g. O0100) to log in to your OMA account, you will now use the email address associated with that account to log in. Your password has also been reset and you will need the new password emailed to you in order to log in.

How do I log in to my OMA member account?

Existing members will receive an email to the email address on file with their new member login details and a link to access their account. Please look for that email to confirm your new login details. If you did not receive it or would like to confirm your email address on file, please email [email protected] or call the OMA at 416-348-8672 (toll-free in Ontario at 1-866-662-8672).

Once you have logged in, we recommend changing your password to something secure and memorable. You will then be able to log in at https://museumsontario.member365.ca/ at any time.

Please note that we have retired the OMA’s legacy membership number system. If you have been using a membership number (e.g. O0100) to log in to your OMA account, you will now use the email address associated with that account to log in. Your password has also been reset and a new, temporary password will be emailed to you.

If you are a contact for an Institutional membership and have an individual OMA membership under the same email address, you will now be able to manage both memberships by logging in to the Member Portal.

How do I change my password?

Once you are logged in, click on ‘My Account’ on the dark grey toolbar (under the OMA logo), then ‘My Profile’, to change your password.

How do I renew my membership?

If your membership has lapsed, you will be prompted to renew it when you log in to the member portal. You should also start receiving membership renewal reminders 60 days before your membership is due for renewal, which will contain a direct link to the member renewal form.

Where can I find receipts for payment and invoices?

Once you are logged in, click on ‘My Account’ on the dark grey toolbar (under the OMA logo), then ‘Invoices & Receipts’.

All invoices and receipts generated by the membership management system will also be emailed to the email address on file.

Please note that you will not be able to access payment receipts for purchases made on the previous OMA membership system. If you need proof of payment for transactions prior to November 2024, please contact us at [email protected].

How can I get an invoice for my membership?

If you are within 2 months of your membership renewal date or have lapsed, you will be able to renew your membership through the portal or by following the link in the automated renewal emails.

Please follow all instructions on the renewal form. On the last screen you will be given the option to pay be ‘Credit Card’ or ‘Cheque/Invoice’ – please select the ‘Cheque/Invoice’ option and you will receive an invoice by email.

Where can I find my Individual membership card?

If there is a membership card associated with your account type, you can now download your personalized card inside the Member Portal under the ‘Membership’ tab. The OMA will no longer send membership packages by email, as the Member Portal will have up-to-date links to member and access to your membership card. However, we are always happy to help you find your card or other membership resources.

The PDF file is scaled for digital display. If you would like to print your membership card to keep in your wallet, we recommend printing at 33% scale on sturdy card.

How do I register for OMA events?

If you are registering yourself as an individual member, log into the Member Portal and click ‘Events’ on the toolbar near the top of your screen, then find the event you want to sign up for on the calendar.

If you are the contact for an Institutional membership, you can create member portal accounts for your colleagues in order to register for events. This option will be available from the member portal homepage.

You can also register for most OMA events as a non-member through the links we will share in ONmuseums and on social media. However, you will need to be logged in as a member to get the OMA member rate.

How do I register for OMA courses?

For now, we will be taking course registrations for Winter 2025 courses outside of the member portal. Please click here: https://museumsontario.ca/certificate-in-museum-studies-registration/ and fill in your details to express your interest in taking an OMA course.

Does the OMA save payment information in Member365?

The OMA and Member365 do not store payment information submitted through the OMA member portal, which is handled securely by an external payment processor.

I have other questions or feedback about the member portal.

Please direct questions or feedback to [email protected] .
